For demonstration purpose, we have developed a simple Farm Management Information System (FMIS) which allows to create fields, add management information, and run simulations returning nitrogen soil content estimates. The FMIS has been further described at our poster:

At Technical University of Denmark, we have developed the core component of the backend system, called “Daisy wrapper and remote execution framework”. The component is able to spawn a parallel execution of the Daisy soil and plant model as well as handle input/output files. Currently, it demonstrates parallel execution on a HPC cluster at the university and in Google cloud. Please look for further details in the presentation here:
